Dmitry Berlizov

Dmitry Berlizov was born in 1982 in Saransk, Russia. In 1996, Dmitry enrolled in the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, studying with M. I. Sitkovsky. From 2001 to 2006, he studied at the Moscow Conservatory of P. I. Tchaikovsky with A. V. Bobrovsky.  In 2009, he graduated from postgraduate study in chamber performance under the direction of T. A. Alihanova.
In March 2006, Dmitry won the international performance competition ‘Classical heritage’ in Moscow. Since 2007, he has been teaching at the Central Music School in Moscow. He also performed in the Russian National Orchestra under the direction of Michael Pletnev, and in the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under Vladimir Spivakov. Dmitry also leads an active career as a soloist and chamber musician in Russia and abroad with performances in Italy, Spain, Norway, China and Canada.
